Who can get the best scores?

Timed challenges!

Try out these 4 timed challenges with your friends and family!

Record your score each time you take part and see if you can keep improving!

Let’s begin!

Challenge 1

  • How long can you hold a wall sit for?

Stand with your back against the wall and squat down until your knees make a right angle.

Challenge 2

  • How long can you balance on one leg with your eyes closed?

Make sure you’ve got someone to keep an eye on you!

Challenge 3

  • How many star jumps can you do in 30 seconds?

Jump as you swing both arms and legs out to the side.

Challenge 4

  • How many times can you complete the sequence in 30 seconds:
    Touch your head, shoulders, hips, knees, and toes.

You have to do all of the steps in the sequence to get 1 point!

Once you’ve tried out all of the challenges, make up your own to challenge your family!

Need more information on the signpost bench exercises?

Easy: Seated leg kick with opposite arm punch
Kick out your left leg while punching the air with your right hand.
Switch sides and do 10 total

Moderate: Calf raises
Stand behind the bend with your feet on the ground.
Then, push yourself up onto your toes and back down again.
Try both feet together for 5, then do 5 while balancing on one leg!

Challenging: Ab walkout
Stand close to the bench and bend over to put your hands on the seat.
Slowly walk your legs backwards until you’re in a plank position (see picture).
Hold for 5-10 seconds, then walk your feet towards your hand and stand up again.
Repeat 10 times.
